During the month of February, volunteers go door to door fundraising for the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
The foundation is still looking for about another 300 volunteers who can donate one to two hours going door to door between Feb. 1 and Feb. 28.
These volunteers "have an immense impact on research and health education programs in (our) community," stated a release from the foundation.
A volunteer-based health charity, the Heart & Stroke Foundation raises money to help promote healthy living, advancing medical research, and advocating for healthy hearts, according to the foundation website.
