Friends, family members and survivors of brain injury met at the New Sudbury Centre on April 30 to host their first indoor walkathon. Money raised from the event — which was called the Walk'n'Roll event — will support the March of Dimes Moving-A-Head Campaign to build a second home on Bancroft Drive. Specifically, the event supports the Wade Hampton House in Greater Sudbury, a home for people with acquired brain injuries (ABI). Once built, the second home will provide a residence for ten more people with acquired brain injury and reduce the long waiting. Photo supplied
