Warmhearts Palliative Caregivers is hosting its seventh annual Warmhearts Walk for Palliative Care, Saturday, May 2.
Parents, children, grandparents and family pets are invited to show their support and learn about Palliative Care programs during the 3 km walk. The money raised will continue to provide support for terminally ill individuals and their families, enhancing their quality of life.
The walk begins at 11 a.m., with registration from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at 303 York St. There is no registration fee and participants will receive a Warmhearts Walk t-shirt.
Pledge forms must be turned in at the registration desk the day of the walk. A BBQ is followed after the walk. The event is sponsored by Assante Wealth management. For more information phone 677-0077 or go to www.warmhearts.ca .
