The Women?s Committee of the United Steelworkers of America Northeastern Ontario Area Council (NEOAC) is launching a Women Helping Women project.
NEOAC represents women on many different locals throughout northeastern Ontario and includes crisis workers, technicians, vent fabricators, miners and office workers.
The campaign, which started last week and continues until Mother?s Day on May 12, is seeking donations of a personal nature, such as towels, nightgowns, jogging suits, toys, books, combs, brushes, socks, and toiletries, which will then be given to shelters in Sudbury, North Bay and Parry Sound.
