At 11:30 a.m., the YMCA will officially kick off their Strong Kids Campaign, a program operated by each local YMCA with the purpose of raising funds to ensure people of all ages have access to YMCA programs and services regardless of their background or financial circumstances.

The event is open to the public with donation. All funds will go towards the Strong Kids Campaign.

During 2016, the YMCA of Sudbury was able to provide more than $308,000 in assistance to children, students, seniors and families in Sudbury and surrounding communities.

Access to child care, organized sports, camp programs, fitness and swimming programs are made available through the Strong Kids Campaign.
