ANTONIONI, Rinaldo - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of a wonderful man Rinaldo Antonioni, 78 years of Azilda on December 18th, 2011. Cherished father of Kewaden (Tracey) of Copper Cliff and Wahnese of Fort St. John, B.C. Loving Nono to Nicholas, Matthew, Lucas and Faith-Isabella (predeceased). Dear brother of Duilio (Clara) of Midhurst, ON and Virginio (Anna) of Magliano, Italy. Beloved husband of Janet (Stevens) predeceased. Adoring brother in law to Barbara Stevens-Burns and lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Rinaldo came to Sudbury from Fano, Italy where he developed and mastered his trade of carpentry. He was a talented man who's work had been admired and enjoyed throughout the Sudbury area in many houses and businesses. He loved his morning coffee at the Doghouse in Azilda and playing cards in the common room at the White Water Seniors Residence. But overall his greatest joy was watching his grandchildren. He would light up whenever they were near. He will forever be remembered as our beloved Nono and we will miss him terribly. In lieu of flowers, donations to Sick Kids Hospital, Toronto would be appreciated. A Memorial Service will be held in the R.J. Barnard Chapel JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury Wednesday, December 28th, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation with interment in the family plot at Sudbury R.C. Cemetery.
