ARCHER (Kennedy) Violet - Peacefully at her residence, on Sunday, September 23rd, 2012. Violet M. Archer (nee Salter) of Woodingford Lodge, Woodstock in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert C. Archer (2000) and the late E. Reid Kennedy (1971). Dear mother of Fern Fleming and her husband Rob of Copper Cliff, Donald Kennedy of Woodstock, Step Mother to Ron Archer of Beachville, Larry Archer and his wife Sheila of Woodstock and mother-in-law to Joyce Archer of Stoney Plain, Alberta. Loved grandmother of several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dear sister of Bill Salter and Jim Salter both of Listowel. Predeceased by her sister Ruby Hurst (Ross), step son Wayne Archer and daughter-in-law Marie Archer. Violet was a longtime member of the Knox Presbyterian Church, Woodstock where she had also volunteered many hours with the various ladies groups of the church. Friends are invited to join the family at the BROCK AND VISSER FUNERAL HOME, 845 Devonshire Ave., Woodstock 519-539-0004 on Wednesday September 26, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will held at Knox Presbyterian Church, 59 Riddell St., Woodstock on Thursday at 11:00 am with Rev. Mark McLennan officiating. Interment in the Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
