ARMSTRONG, Isabel Monica (née Tremblay) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the age of 76 years. Daughter of the late Arthur S. and Florence M. (née Lachance) Tremblay. Beloved wife of James Armstrong Sr. of Sudbury. Loving mother of Beverley Sabourin (Richard) of Hanmer, Barbara Young (Molson), Sharon Armstrong (Guy Gagne) and James Jr. (Wendy) all of Sudbury and Gregory (Christine Bouffard) of Lively. Dear sister of Leona Cousineau (late Pete), Pauline Moore (late Steve), Yvette Beland (late Randy), Jackie McConnell (John) all of Sudbury and Leo Tremblay (Jeannette) of Val Caron. Predeceased by her sisters and brothers: Jeannette Passmore (late Allan), Reverend Sister Irene Tremblay, s.s.j., Richard (Peggy of Dowling) and Robert (Eleanor of Sudbury). Sadly missed by her grandchildren, David, Darryl, Danielle, David, James, Kelly, Rebecca, Victoria, Desirée, Cedric and her great-grandchildren Emmaly and David Jr. Will also be missed by her feline friend Buddy. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Isabel treasured her Tremblay heritage; in her younger years spending time at their camp on Vermillion Lake and in her later years at Mountain Home Lodge. Isabel enjoyed many fun filled years on Low Water Lake with her children, grandchildren and canine friend Rambo. Isabel will be truly missed by all who knew her. The family expresses its heartfelt appreciation to the caring staff at the emergency department at Sudbury Regional Hospital The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUENRAL HOME, Sudbury, Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. A funeral service will be held Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 11:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated
