ARMSTRONG, Loretta (née Martin) - Passed away peacefully August 20, 2012 at her home in Levack surrounded by her loving family. Wife of late Robert Armstrong. Beloved mother to Linda, Tony (Judy), Terry (Meena), John, Robert (Lorraine), Margaret (late Percy), Patricia (Terry), Mary (Dan), Ronald (Cora), Anne (Norm), late Paul, Paula (George) and Jennifer. Dear sister of Anne and Eileen. Predeceased by her parents John and Mary, sisters and brothers: Nell, Ronald, Sylvester, Margaret. Survived by her sister- in-laws Alice and Margaret. Sadly missed by her grandchildren: Christopher, Adam, Eric, Jana, Calli, Mikaela, Dylan, Raina, Jordan, Ryan, Sarah, Kate, Melissa, Stephanie, Alex, Loretta, Matthew, Durand, Aislinn, Landis, Nicholas, Kelsey, Lawrence, Andrew, Jakob and great grandchildren: Kaitlin, Calvin and Lucas. She will be lovingly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews and friends. Loretta was a member of St. Bartholomew's Parish and the CWL. She was a wonderful and devoted mother who taught us the true meaning of caring and giving. She was a social butterfly who loved garage sales, a good cuppa tea, playing rummy, sharing jokes, baking up a storm, sewing, sitting in the sun and living life to the fullest. The family will receive relatives and friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 RR 15, Chelmsford, on Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, August 25, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St. Bartholomew's Church, Levack. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to Maison Vale Hospice or Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
