ASHAMOCK, Meni Louise - In Loving Memory of Meni Louise Ashamock (Loon) (Nee Sackaney) 62 years. Passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday November 1st, 2011 at the Health Sciences North. Beloved wife of Joseph W. Loon. Loving mother of Greg Ashamock of Toronto, Donna Ashamock (Randy Kapashesit) of Moose Factory, and Loretta Loon of Toronto. Cherished grandmother of Meridian Loon. Dear daughter of the late Emile and Cecilia (Ashawakamik) Sackaney. Dear sister of Hannah Hunter, Harriet (predeceased), step-sister of John, Joseph Sackaney (Jean), Phemi Sutherland (predeceased), Mani Sutherland (predeceased), Lottie Tookate (predeceased), Peter Sackaney (predeceased), and predeceased by twin half- brothers Benoit and Antoine Sackaney. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and extended family. Meni's focus of her life was her family and all their many accomplishments especially of her granddaughter Meridian. Memorial services will be held in the R.J. Barnard Chapel, JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury on Friday November 4th, 2011 at 1 :00 p.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium Donations to the Charity of your Choice would be gratefully acknowledged.
