Paul Brandon Ashley, predeceased by his parents Cecil and Aileen, brothers Doug, and John, passed away Thursday March 29, 2024, at the age of 84 at Health Sciences North surrounded by his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy. He will be sadly missed by his son Colin and wife Paula, Jason (deceased) and wife Michelle. His grandchildren, Eli, Paul, Everest, Tiffany and great grandson River will greatly miss their grandfather.
Paul was born in Toronto, and after marrying Dorothy, they moved to Smooth Rock Falls where he managed the hospital laboratory, and they raised their two sons.
After retiring, Paul and Dorothy moved to Sudbury where he continued to work as an official at national curling events. He enjoyed building remote control airplanes and learning to fly them with his friends.
Paul was passionately involved in Masonry in Cochrane, North Bay, and Sudbury.

Masonic Memorial Service in the R.J Barnard Chapel, Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home. 233 Larch St Sudbury, ON. Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024, at 2:00pm under the auspice of the City of Lakes Lodge #536 AF and AM GRL. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
