ASSELIN, Jean-Guy Puss - It is with great sorrow that the family announces his death in Dowling on Saturday, May 26, 2012 at the age of 69 years. Beloved husband to Jacqueline (née Poirier) of Dowling. Son of the late Arthur Asselin and Evangeline (née Charest). Loving father of Jean-Guy Jr. (Lisa Gilmour), Ghislain (Kelly Size), Daniel (Christine), Corinne (Guy Séguin), and Robert (Suzanne). Cherished grandfather to Tanya, Shawn, Natasha, Amanda, Scott, Kaylin, Jacob, Josée, Emily, Joël, Danielle and Zoé. Great grandfather to Mackenzie and Tianna. Dear brother of Adrianna, Fernande, Guy Paul, Roland and Denis. Predeceased by Rose, Claude and Isabelle. Jean-Guy was a humble man who enjoyed hunting and playing music. His passion was helping his family and community. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R R 15, Chelmsford, Wednesday May 30 2012, from 2-5 p.m and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday May 31, at 11 a.m. in St. Etienne Church Dowling, Ontario. Donations (by cheque only) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
