ASSELIN, Rollande (née Turgeon) - It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Monday, October 1, 2012 at the age of 73 years. Daughter of the late Albert and of the late Agnes (née Trottier) Turgeon. Wife of the late Gaëtan Dupuis and late Guy Asselin. Loving mother of Regent Dupuis (Diane) of Hanmer, Gérald Dupuis (Jo-Anne) of Burlington, Ivan Dupuis (Monique) of Chelmsford and Chantalle Héroux (Paul) of North Bay. Dear sister of Hervé (Rita) and Euclide (Rollande) both of Sudbury, David (Fleurette) of Sturgeon Falls, Conrad of Ottawa, Gilberte Gauvin (late Raymond) of Chelmsford and predeceased by her brothers and sister Ursule Duhaime (late Lionel), Onile, Rheal (Jeannine of Sudbury) and Cécile Hinds (late Gary). Cherished grandmother of Serge, Alain, Joël, Eric, Manon, Chanelle, Alexandra, Catherine and great grandmother of Julien. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Rollande was the secretary for the “Domaine des Pionniers“ campground and was a member of the “Club des Canadiens Français en Floride“. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Thursday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9:30p.m. A funeral service will be held Friday, October 5, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Cooperative Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury.
