Born in Mattawa, Ontario Edna moved to Sudbury as a child. Married to Don for 49 years, they raised 9 children in Waters Township (Walden). When they had the cottage at Long Lake she spent her time outside as much as possible. She enjoyed winters in Florida with all her Florida friends. Edna enjoyed bowling, bingo and participated in many of the park activities. She also enjoyed reading, dancing, country music, traveling, the casino and shopping.
