AVERY (VENEDAM), Mary Louise - In loving memory of Mary Louise Avery (Venedam), 84 years, peacefully, Sunday, February 13th 2011 at the Finlandia Koti Nursing Home with loving family at her side.Beloved wife of William Avery.  Loving mother of Wayne (Vince), Gail (Greg Barton predeceased), Elaine (Tony Angelic), Sandra (Rafael Linares) and Paul (Julia). Cherished Gramma of Alexandra, Victoria, Andrew, Jenny, Hilary, Thomas, Meryn, Mathew (Shelly), Sara (Jason), Christopher (Sabrina), Emily and great grandchildren Maija, Ryan, Ashton, Hayden, Madisen, Makenzi and Faith. Dear daughter of Edward and Annie Venedam predeceased. Dear sister of Firmin and Rudolph and predeceased by Leo, Margaret, Leona, Marion, George and Clarence. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born in Pomquet N.S. Mary married William Avery in 1950 in Nova Scotia moving to the Sudbury area after their wedding. She was a longtime Naughton resident. A devout Roman Catholic she had attended St. Pius X Church and belonged to the parish CWL. Mary was an avid gardener whose green thumb produced beautiful flowers and bountiful vegetables. She will be remembered at an active person who was never idle. The focus of her life was her loving family especially her precious grand children and great grandchildren. The light of her life will be cherished by all who knew and loved her. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St at Hazel St. (Friends may call 2-4; 7-9PM Wednesday). Funeral Mass in Holy Redeemer Church, 1887 Bancroft Dr., Sudbury Thursday, February 17th, 2011 at 10AM. Cremation with interment in the St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
