AYOTTE, Marcel Joseph - In Loving Memory of Marcel Joseph Ayotte 95 years Tuesday evening, January 8th, 2013 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Beloved husband of Thérèse Anita (nee Villeneuve) Ayotte predeceased October 2004. Predeceased by his parents Dr. Joseph B. and Thérèse (nee Cté) Ayotte and by his brothers and sisters; Marguerite Lajeunesse, Jeannine Pettigrew, Madeleine Pilon, Jacqueline Lacroix, Louis, Maurice, Jacques, Jean and George-Etienne. Very special uncle to several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Marcel was born in Plantagenet, Ontario. He married Thérèse in 1943 in Chelmsford and worked as a miner at Inco Ltd. for 27 years retiring in 1978. A member of St Joseph's Church in Chelmsford, his favorite pastimes were camping on Vermillion Lake, playing pool, bowling and being part of the Chelmsford Club 50. An avid curler, he belonged to the Idylwyde and Copper Cliff curling clubs. Marcel leaves a rich legacy of love, faith and devotion and will be sadly missed. The family will honour his request of no visitation. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium, Sudbury, with interment in the Chelmsford Cemetery at a later date. A memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church, Chelmsford Monday, January 14th, 2013 at 11 a.m. (Friends may gather before the service at the Church at 10:45 a.m. Monday).
