BAJOREK, Boleslaw (Bill) - In loving memory of Boleslaw “Bill“ Bajorek, at the age of 88 years, Thursday evening, April 21st, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital following a very short battle with cancer. Beloved husband of 50 years to Wladyslawa Bajorek (nee Niedzwiedz), loving father to his only child Kathy (Richard Lafreniere) and cherished grandfather of Alexander and Nicholas, all of Ottawa, Ontario. Born in the small village of Siedliska, Poland he immigrated to Canada in 1948, settling in Sudbury in 1950 where he worked for INCO in the Copper Refinery for 34 years, retiring in 1984. Bill was an expert fisherman, hunter and woodsman, loving nature and wildlife. He was an avid gardener, camper, hockey fan, reader of history and dog lover. He had a special talent for fixing things and was always quick to help friends and neighbours. He was a devout Roman Catholic and an active member of his church. Bill will be remembered as a quiet man who had a strong character and good sense of humour. Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME (there will be no visitation), funeral mass in St. Casimir's Church Tuesday, April 26th, 2011 at 10:00 a.m., cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with interment in Ottawa.
