BALDAN, Frank - In loving memory of Frank Baldan, 83 years, Saturday, April 30th, 2011 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Beloved husband of Dorina (Pagnutti) Baldan of Sudbury. Loving father of Paul (Katherine) and George. Cherished grandfather of Mia and Sophia. Dear son of Erminio and Maria Baldan both predeceased. Dear brother of Milena Zanon and Giorgio both of Venice, Italy, predeceased by Marisa Rottigni. Sadly missed by nieces, nephews and family in Venice, Italy and in Canada. Born in Venice, Italy, he married Dorina in Sudbury in 1953. He served 25 years as produce manager at Dominion Stores, retiring in 1983. Frank enjoyed a passion for cooking and loved his yearly trip home to spend time in Venice. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Hope Church, 591 Brennan Rd., Sudbury, Wednesday, May 4th, 2011 at 10am. Entombment in the Civic Mausoleum. Prayers 7pm Tuesday. Donations to the SRHF Dialysis Unit would be appreciated. Friends may call 6-9pm Tuesday.
