BARBADORO, Gabriella - It is with deep sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Gabriella Barbadoro. She was part of a generation who had the courage to come to this country with nothing to make a new life. As a young woman she worked at St. Joseph's Hospital as a seamstress. It was there that she met the love of her life who was also her translator. She always put the needs of her family first. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. We will miss all her great cooking and the joy she brought to our lives through her thoughtfulness. Predeceased by both parents, Carlo and Giulia Bonaca. She is remembered by her husband of 51 years Egidio, and her children Mauro (wife Penny) and Giulia (husband David) Langlois. She was Nonna to Michela and Kate. Special Nonna to Joshua and Kaylee. Sister to Ottavia Berardi, Erminia Bossi (predeceased) and Iolanda Bonaca of Italy. Sister-in-law to Fedora Tarini. She is also remembered by many nieces and nephews, as well as family members in Italy. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, October 28, at JACKSON BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch Street Sudbury, ON., from 3 - 5pm and 7 - 9pm.
