BARTON, Don Guy - In Loving Memory of Don Guy Barton 48 years who passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of Laurel Barton (nee Morrison) of Sudbury. Cherished father of Donald Barton, Amanda Mongeon, Maeve O'Toole and Chloe O'Toole. Dear son of Nancy (nee Kelly) Boucher of Timmins and Guy Barton predeceased. Dear brother of Carla (Lee Sewell) of Sault Ste Marie and Kevin (Marianne) of Sudbury. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Shannon and Kevin O'Connor and Lou the cat who stayed by his side. Don worked at Extendicare York for 15 years. He was born in Rouyn Noranda and moved to Timmins at age 4, then Sudbury in 1992. Don had a great passion for the slots, enjoyed movies and reading books. He was really into the 80's era, be it the fashion, music or culture and he also liked listening to CBC radio. What he treasured most was spending time with family and friends. A Celebration of Don's life will be held at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury, Friday, April 20, 2012 at 7 p.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium.
