BEAULIEU, Gérard - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the age of 94 years. Son of the late Joseph and of the late Alberta (née Gauthier) Beaulieu. Husband of the late Irène Beaulieu (née Gobeil). Beloved father of Léola Morin (Gilbert), Noël Beaulieu, Claude Beaulieu (Kim), Angela Lachance (Donald) and Denise St-Louis (Roch). Predeceased by his son Bernard. Dear brother of Elizabeth Jean (late Roland), Thérèse Bélisle (late Lucien), Clarisse Turènne (late Léo) and Solange Pitre (late Fernand). Predeceased by his sisters Cécile Thériault, Marie-Jeanne Duval and his brother François Beaulieu. Sadly missed by his 14 grandchildren and 16 great- grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Gérard will be remembered having been a great carpenter of whom the community relied on for small and big jobs and for his gardens creations of which, for many years, were the envy of the Noëlville residents. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting well into his 80's. He was also a volunteer firefighter for many years. The family will receive relatives and friends at the St-David's Parish Hall, Noëlville, Monday from 2-5, 7-930 p.m. and after 12:00 p.m. (noon) Tuesday. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in St-David's Church, Noëlville. Donations (by cheque only) to the Brain Injury Association of Sudbury or the Extendicare Falconbridge (Activity or Palliative Care Dept.) Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
