BEAVIS, Vernon Arthur - In loving memory of Vernon Arthur “Vern” Beavis peacefully, Friday afternoon February 4, 2011 of cancer, at Sudbury Regional Hospital. Beloved husband of Lynda (nee Rowland) Beavis of Sudbury. Predeceased by his parents Jim and Bernie (nee Guerin) Beavis. Survived by 3 children, 6 grandchildren and brother James Terrance “Terry” (wife Lori) of Gravenhurst. Greatly missed by sister-in law Lorna Rowland, niece Carolyn and nephew Ian and families, all of Stoney Creek, close friends Bill Willson of Thunder Bay, Brian & Rhonda Oster of Sudbury, Doug and Joyce Morris of Lindsay and Bob Byrnes of Vernon B.C. and feline companions Asu and Molly. Vern retired from Bell Canada in 1990 to his camp at Naraka Lake where he spent many happy years. At Verns request there is no visitation or funeral service. Interment of cremains at Park Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
