BELANGER, Alcide A. - In Loving Memory of Alcide A. Belanger (1932-2012) 80 years old. Son of the late Osias and Yvonne (Laurin) Belanger. Beloved husband of almost 60 years to Irene Belanger. Cherished father of Robert Belanger (deceased), Suzanne Caya (nee Belanger, predeceased), Marguerite Belanger and Christine Belanger (Matthew Blakely). Loving Grandfather of Natalie Belanger, Lynn Belanger (Ozz), Crystal Pouta (Stephen), Sheila Belanger (Denis Lacroix), Alcide Caya (Tracey O'Brian), Amanda Belanger, Robert Belanger (Crystal Rivers) and Alain Legault (Christine). Sadly missed by many great grandchildren. Dear Brother of Pauline Dauphin (Max predeceased), Colette Thibeault (Ron St. Jacques), Claudette Scott, David Belanger (predeceased) and Jaqueline Farmer (Dave, both predeceased). He was a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Alcide was a hard working man all of his life. The job he was most proud of was his work with Falconbridge Mining, which he retired from after 26 years. He loved to watch Wrestling and could often be seen playing Bingo in the Valley. Most of all he loved spending time with his family, playing cards and sitting around talking and laughing. We would tell him “I love you more“ and he would say “same here!“ Funeral Service in the R.J.
