BENOIT, Josephine Theresa (Keogh) - October 17, 1935 - November 16, 2012 - Passed away peacefully at 77 years in Oakville ON after a brief battle with cancer. She will be dearly missed by her husband Charles of Oakville ON, and her children Robert (Kim), Gerry (Ann), Dean (Suzanne), Maureen Stubina (Nathan), Dennis (Anne), Lori-Ann Leblond (Tim). Cherished Grandma of Gregory, Samantha, Lindsay, Caleb, Tyler, Kelly, Tara, Kyle, Hannah, Benjamin, Claire, Adam, Christine, and Great- Grandma to James. Beloved sister to Essie Byrne and Liam Keogh (June). Josephine was predeceased by her parents Patrick & Bridget Keogh and her siblings Mick, Mary, Margaret, and Breda. Born in 1935 in county Meath, Ireland. She came to Canada in April of 1953. Josephine married in 1955 in Sudbury ON and spent most of her married life in Azilda, ON and then moved to Oakville in 2008. A public visitation will be held for Josephine on Monday, November 19, 2012 at the OAKVIEW FUNERAL HOME, (56 Lakeshore Rd. W, Oakville) from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will on Tuesday November 20, 2012 at St. Matthew's Roman Catholic Church at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lymphoma Foundation of Canada or the Oakville Hospital Foundation will be appreciated by the family.
