BENTLEY, Allan John - In Loving Memory of Allan John Bentley, 64 years. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Health Sciences North. Dear son of Frank predeceased and Phyllis (Bagnell) Bentley. Brother of Susan Hamer (Ken) of England. Beloved fiancé of Joan Sherriff and sadly missed by Joan's mother Blanche Nevins. Loving father of Lisa Brown (Michael), Chris Bentley (Christy) and stepfather of Brandy and Tisha Sherriff. Cherished grandfather of Chelsea, Brandon, Austin, Kayla, Alexandra and Justin. Sadly missed by his four legged friends Eddie, Callie, Brownie, Sandy and Chatty all at home. Al was a retired geologist. He was an avid gardener and passionate lover and advocate of all animals. He was a faithful Toronto Maple Leafs fan. Al was devoted to his family, taking pride in their activities and accomplishments. The light of his life will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, Hanmer/Capreol Chapel, 4605 Michelle Dr., Hanmer, Wednesday, February 29th, 2012 at 11 A.M. Interment in the Valley East Cemetery.
