BERNIER, Florina - In Loving Memory of Flo Bernier (nee Burton) 85 years, Saturday May 11, 2013 at St Josephs Villa, Sudbury. Mother of Wayne (wife Mari), Dennis (wife Veronica) Mickey (wife Penny) and David (wife Lisa). Cherished grandmother of Michael, Robert, Dennis, Trisha, Ryan, Kevin, Kerr and Sabrina and g reat grandchildren Logan, Reese, Aiden, Joseph, Gordon, Jordyn, Lila, Mylo & Mika. Dear daughter of James and Florina (Legault) Burton predeceased. Dear sister of Rachel, Marguerite, Bobby, Darlene and Kim. Predeceased by Sandra, Jeanne, Paul, Carol, Frank, Victoria, Betty, Jim, Henry and Laurence. Born in Sudbury Flo grew up in the Skead Road area. She was very active in community service and brought a lot of sunshine into the lives of others. She was well known in the Sudbury area as singer/songwriter “Country Gal Flo“. Her appearances on the Barbershoppers Christmas Toy Drive and the subsequent Lions Children's Christmas Telethon spanned more than 60 years. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME. There will be no visitation or service.
