BERTRAND, Myrna Evelyn (nee Cole) - In loving memory of Myrna Evelyn Bertrand (nee Cole), 79 years, at her home on Sunday, February 24th, 2013. Beloved wife of Harry Joseph Bertrand predeceased. Loving mother of Deborah Collins (Jack Wagg) of Oshawa, Barry predeceased and Wendy Bertrand-Bolton (Keith) of Delta, B.C. Cherished grandmother of Christopher (Andrea), Tamara and great grandmother of Elainah and Gavin. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Vera (Wilson) Cole. Dear sister of Ivan Cole (Gloria) of Sturgeon Falls, Lynne Haney of Bobcaygeon and predeceased by her sisters Lorna Buchanan and Joan Godfroid. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, Kevin, Trent, Haley and “Little Fraser“. Born in Sturgeon Falls, Myrna moved to the Sudbury area after high school. She married Harry and together they lived and raised their children in Levack. For almost ten years, Myrna has lived in Sudbury and made many new friends in her building and on the senior's bus. She was always on the go and enjoying each day to the fullest. She was a wonderful Mother who was always there for her children. Family and friends will miss her dearly. Her beautiful smile, sense of humour, warmth and love to everyone who was close to her will forever be remembered in our hearts. The family would like to thank Dr. Najgebauer for his great care and compassion. At Myrna's request there will be no visitation or service. Family and friends are welcome at her apartment on Sunday, March 3rd, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with interment in the family plot in Sturgeon Falls in the spring. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME.
