BERTRAND, Roger L. - The family announces with great sadness his death, Monday, December 3rd, 2012 at the age of 66 years. Son of the late Aimé and Léda (née Tremblay) Bertrand. Beloved husband of Priscille (née Labelle). Loving father of Céline (Rock Villeneuve), Marc (Andréa Dignard), André (Melissa) and Francine (John Burchell). Proud grandpa and pepère of Joëlle, Vincent, Karyne, Bradley, Hayley, Brayden, Ashton, Makayla, Anthony, Makinley and Anson. Dear brother of Lorraine Langen (Allan), Pat Kuca (Harold), Dorothy Obonsawin (Denis), Claude (Linda), Norm (Linda) and Raymond (Melissa). Lovingly remembered by his father and mother-in-law, Lionel and Reina Labelle, sisters and brothers-in-law, Roger (Donna), Jeanne-d'Arc (Jim), Michel (Michelle), Marie-Anne Gelineau (Raymond), Pierre and Yvan (Marilyn). Sadly missed by his daughter-in-law Josée Tremblay, special friends and neighbors, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family. Roger's greatest joy was to be in the company of his family, especially his grandchildren who lit up his life. We will remember him for his gentle spirit and wonderful sense of humour. The family expresses their heartfelt appreciation to all those who helped during Roger's difficult journey, especially Dr. Mark Dubé, his medical team and staff from Maison Vale Hospice for their kind and compassionate care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre- Dame), Sudbury, Thursday from 2-5 and 7- 9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday December 7th, 2012 at 11 a.m. in Ste-Agnès Church, Azilda.
