In Loving Memory of Noah Bertuzzi Sr. 81 years, Saturday, May 1st, 2010 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital. Beloved husband of Cecile (Martin) Bertuzzi of Sudbury. Loving father of Albert (Sue) of Sudbury, Gail (Ken Lachapelle) of Hanmer, Linda (Rene Collin) of Garson, Nora (Mike Welsh), Robert (Beverly) both of Sudbury, Anne-Marie (Howard Machum), Noah Jr. “Joe” (Lynn) both of Lively. Cherished grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Dear son of Umberto and Luigia Bertuzzi both predeceased. Dear brother of Mary (Bill Hutcheon predeceased) of Toronto, Liz (Connie DiSalle) of Sudbury, predeceased by Peo (Ida of Mississauga), Ego (Joyce of Sudbury), Elio (Lucy of Sudbury) and Violet (Gilbert Sell). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born in Cartier, he married Cecile in Sudbury in 1948. In Loving memory of a wonderful husband and father who constantly gave himself and whose passion in life was his family, the business, he created back in 1952, Reliable Maintenance Products and the numerous sports activities that he partook of, bowling, golfing, curling, and bocca. His most treasured moments in life were those large family gatherings celebrating Christmas, birthdays, anniversaries and let’s not forget those inevitable colourful debates that he initiated and presided over. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with family and friends at his summer cottage and his Florida condo. Noah’s achievements in life included his induction into the Sudbury Sports Hall of Fame in June 2008, was a member of the Master Bowlers Association, a lifetime member of the Caruso Club and a long term member of the Idylwylde Golf Club. He instilled in his children a great work ethic and a dedication to family. Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Hope Church 591 Brennan St. Wednesday, May 5th, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment in the Sudbury Catholic Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society or Diabetic Association would be appreciated.(Friends may gather at the Church after 9:45 a.m. Wednesday) Arrangements entrusted to the Lougheed Funeral Home.
