BÉRUBÉ, Nora (née Minor) - The family announces with sorrow, her death at Elizabeth Centre, Val Caron, Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the age of 93 years. Daughter of the late Oswald and the late Alice (née Soucie) Minor. Wife of the late Edgar Bérubé predeceased in 1985. Beloved mother of Fernand Bérubé (Cécile), Jean Desjardins (late Emile), Roland Bérubé (Elisabeth), Raymond Bérubé (Jane), Allen Bérubé (Dolorese) (late wife Jeanne). Dear sister of Marie Lamothe (late Euzebe). Predeceased by her brother Allen Minor; survived by sister-in-law Annie. Sadly missed by her grandchildren Hélène, Suzanne Meyer (Joseph), Claire, Richard, Roger (Janet), Maxime Desjardins (Sherry), Jocelyne Desjardins, Terry Bérubé (Nicole), Carole, Paul (Ruby), David (Hélène), Jeffrey (Melissa) and Tammy Parenteau (Dennis). Survived by 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great- great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She will also be lovingly remembered by many relatives and friends. In her 93 years Nora enjoyed gardening, picking blueberries, knitting as well as cooking for many family gatherings. The family expresses its heartfelt appreciation to the staff at Elizabeth Centre for the excellent care given to Nora. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570, St-Joseph Street, Hanmer, Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in St-Jacques Church, Hanmer. Donations (by cheque only) to the Soup Kitchen would be greatly appreciated.
