In Loving Memory Of Delma “Del” Bettio (nee Ghetti). It is with great sorrow that the family of Delma “Del” Bettio announce her passing peacefully on Sunday, May 2nd, 2010 at Sudbury Regional Hospital. Born October 13th, 1927, dear daughter of Domenico and Domenica (Bevilacqua) of Copper Cliff, both predeceased. Beloved wife of Silvio “Sam” Bettio of Sudbury, married July 12th, 1952. Loving mother of Jo-Ann Levesque (Mark) of Sudbury and Barry of Copper Cliff. Cherished Nonni to her two precious grandsons John Levesque and Matthew Bettio. Dear sister of Sylvia Bracci (Naldo) both predeceased of London. Dear sister-in-law of Lydia (Bob Canapini predeceased), Elsa and Donald Smith both predeceased and dear aunt to many nieces. Del was a woman of character, class and style, a lady in every respect. A loving wife, mother and Nonni devoted to her family. Her pride and joy were her two grandchildren. An outstanding cook, she made every meal into a special family occasion. She particularly enjoyed the family’s Thanksgiving tradition on Manitoulin Island. She loved her gardening and playing bridge with the girls. She also was a member of the CWL of St. Andrew’s Parish for many years. She will always be cherished and lovingly remembered by her family and many friends. At Del’s request there will be no public visitation. Funeral Mass In St. Andrew the Apostle Church 1250 Barrydowne Road Wednesday, May 5th, 2010 At 10 A.M. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. Donations to the Lung Association or Charily of your Choice would be appreciated.(Friends are welcome at the Church for Mass.)
