BJERKNES, Carolyn Ruth (nee Martel) - In loving memory of Carolyn Ruth Bjerknes (nee Martel), 62 years, Wednesday, February 16th, 2011 at her home. Beloved wife of Aage “Yogi“ Bjerknes of Sudbury. Loving mother of Sean and Melisa. Cherished grandmother of Courtney, Ashton and April. Dear daughter of Louis and Ruth Martel both predeceased. Dear sister of Judy (Richard Green) of Ottawa. Born in Sudbury, Carolyn worked as an R.P.N. at Sudbury Algoma Hospital for 35 years. She enjoyed spending time with the Sandbag girls, playing cards and sharing meals. The center of her life was always her family and she leaves a wonderful legacy of love. Funeral Service in the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St. Saturday, February 19th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation. Donations to the SRHF Algoma Site would be appreciated.
