Blais, Aline (née Ranger)

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces the passing of Aline Blais (née Ranger), 75 years old on Wednesday, February 14th, 2024 at Maison McCulloch Hospice with her loving family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Georges Blais. Loving mother of Angèle (Dave), Roger (companion Janice) and Rejean. Cherished grand-mother of Kelsey-Lynn, Roxanne, Natalie, Michel, Christine, Samantha, Karly and great grandmother to Bentley, Dradon, Brooklynn, Seth and Olivier. Dear sister to Fred (Donna) both predeceased, Armand (Tom) predeceased (Carole). Émile (Ginette) and Dan (Carole). Sister-in-law to Edouard (Ghislaine), Richard (Denise, predeceased). Loving daughter of Arthur and Simone (née Lafontaine) both predeceased. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Aline enjoyed country music and was an excellent gardener, having the most beautiful flower gardens. She was a talented skillful knitter whose creations were treasured by family.

The family would like to express their thanks and gratitude to the staff and volunteers at the hospice who extended themselves beyond expectations to ensure Aline was well cared for and as comfortable as possible during her stay. 

In keeping with Aline’s wishes, there will be no funeral service or visitation.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the Maison McCulloch Hospice https://maisonsudburyhospice.org/donate/ would be greatly appreciated.  Arrangements have been entrusted with Ranger’s Cremation and Burial Services Ltd.  Online condolences can be posted at www.RangersSudbury.com.
