BLAIS, Isidore “Isi“ - It is with great sadness that the family announces his sudden passing on Saturday, November 3rd, 2012 in Sudbury at the age of 68 years. Son of the late Colomban and Lina (née Jeanveau) Blais. Beloved husband of 44 years to Berthe “Betty“ (née Landry) Blais of Sudbury. Loving father of Michel (wife Amy) and Richard (wife Shannon). Predeceased by his daughter Marie-Lynn Blais. Cherished pépère of Calvin, Christian and Gabriel. Dear brother of Georgette (Luc), Jeannette (Marcel), Aimé (Jeannine), Marcel (Cathy) and Claude (Claire). Predeceased by his sister Irène and his brother Gerry (survived by Connie). Lovingly remembered by his father-in-law; Léo-Ben, mother-in-law; Armande, sisters-in-law; Colette, Louise and brothers-in-law; Ray (Sharon), Denis (Hélène) and Larry. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Isidore retired from the ministry of corrections after 29 years. He also worked for Luschen Brothers as a school bus driver for 15 years. Thank you for being the best Husband, Dad and Pépère. Rest well. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Wednesday, November 7th, 2012 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 8th, 2012 10:30 a.m. in St-Jean de Brébeuf Church, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be greatly appreciated.
