BLAIS, Réjean (Reg) - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury,Thursday, August 19 2010 at the age of 53 years. Son of the late Lucien and of the late Marie-Jeanne (née Dumais) Blais. Loving nephew of Laurette (née Richer) Blais of Chelmsford and of the late Léo who took over his parents care. Dear brother of Jacqueline Meilleur (Yvon) of Montréal, Richard Blais (Sharron) of Blind River, Gérald Blais of Barrie, Huguette Blais (Regent Remilliard) of Sudbury, Rolland Blais (Pauline) of Chelmsford, Bernard Blais (Sandra Thibeault) and Suzanne Sonier (Raymond) both of Azilda and of his half brothers and half sisters Clément Blais (Maxine) of Chelmsford, Suzanne Royer (Mitch) of Winnipeg, MB, Diane Blais and Joanne Brooks (Clayton) both of Thompson, MB. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Lovingly remembered by his many friends at the Jarrett Center , where he worked for 33 years. Reg will be remembered for always being there for those in need. His good character and the kindness of his heart won the affection of all who knew him. The family would like to thank the staff and his co-workers at the Jarrett Center for their support, his case worker Melissa Benoit whom he loved and looked forward to her visits, Dr.Merotto and the staff from the 5th and 4th floor at the Sudbury Regional Hospital for the excellent care Reg received during his stay at the hospital. In keeping with Réjean""s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service. Donations (by cheque only) to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would greatly be appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Chelmsford.
