BLANCHETTE, Maurice “Moe“ - In loving memory of Maurice “Moe“ Blanchette, 68 years, Sunday, April 8th, 2012 at the Health Sciences Centre, Sudbury. Beloved husband of Susan Blanchette (née Proulx). Loving father of Richard Blanchette (Denise), Lise Blanchette and Gisèle Blanchette. Cherished grandfather of Eric, Anik, Josée, Stéphane, Connor and Jacqueline. Son of Adrien and Eva (née Boisvert) Blanchette both predeceased. Dear brother of Florence Desprès (André) of Thunder Bay, Fernand (Diane Kingsbury) of Mississauga, Anita Simms (Albert) of North Bay, Gaëtan (Gisèle Boulay) of Hearst and Réjeanne Boucher (Denis) of Val Caron. He will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours as well as his breakfast club at Gloria's Restaurant. Moe worked at INCO for 34 years. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved bowling, playing pool and watching his grandchildren playing hockey. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME Val Caron/Blezard Valley Chapel, 1815 Main St, Val Caron (Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm and after 9:30 am Thursday) Funeral mass at Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Church, Val Therese on Thursday, April 12th, 2012 at 11 am Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium. Memorial donations to the Lung Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Alzheimer's Society would be appreciated.
