It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ed Boisclair, a man who left an indelible mark on all who knew him. With his twinkling blue eyes and mischievous grin, Ed possessed a genuine interest in people, often teasing them in good fun. He faced life with a smile, navigating challenges with quick wit and unwavering positivity. Ed was a dedicated welder who loved to work, pouring his passion into every project he tackled.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 48 years, Leena Boisclair, whom he adored until his final days, and who cherished him in return. Ed took great pride in his children, Andrea and Wesley Boisclair, and their families. Wesley's wife, Shari Lyn, and Ed's grandchildren, Everleigh and Lily "Bug," brought him much joy. Andrea's girls, Matti and Toby, also held a special place in his heart. Though he may no longer be with us physically, his spirit will undoubtedly continue to guide and support them as they navigate life's journey. Ed had a vast network of friends and extended family, spanning both his side and Leena's, and he cherished the connections he made throughout his life.

Special thanks to the neighbors of Gatchell, whose presence and support during Ed's final years in the neighborhood were deeply appreciated. In particular, his best friend Bert Vizza and his sons Frankie and Robbie held a special place in both Leena and Ed's hearts upon their return to Gatchell.

As we mourn Ed's passing, let us remember his resilient spirit and the lessons he taught us. Let us cherish each other, share laughter, and leave behind the trivialities of life, for tomorrow is never promised.

And let's not forget Ed's passion for the Montreal Canadiens – may he continue to cheer them on from the best seat in the house, even if they can't seem to win a game to save their lives!

May Ed's memory live on in each of us, inspiring kindness, humor, and a zest for life.
