BOIVIN, Léo - It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing on Monday, November 26th, 2012 in North Bay at the age of 88 years. Son of the late William and late Laura (née Leduc) Boivin. Beloved husband of Hélène M Marotta of Corbeil. Loving father of Claire Fulin (Lou) of Chelmsford, Shirley Salewski (Stan) and Nancy Montpellier (Bernard) both of Azilda, Florence Boivin of Hamilton, Anne (Denis) of Peterborough and Jack (Marion) of Smiths Falls Predeceased by his son Joe Boivin and father to Marie Marotta (Daniel) of Québec, Thérèse Diotte (James) of Sudbury and Fred Marotta (Sharon) of Sault Ste Marie. Dear brother of Rose Mae MacKintosh (late Gerry) of Gatineau and Marie Perreault (Gerry) of Port Elgin. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters Lester (Kay of North Bay), Lucille Hartson and Edna Laforest, Stanley (late Jean), Alice Chartrand, Laura Boivin, Jeanine Presley (Bob Hull of Edmonton), William Boivin (Muriel of Sudbury), Roy Boivin (Shelvie of Chelmsford), Lloyd Boivin and Raymond (Simone of Hanmer). Special pepère of Richard, David, Michael, Jason, Jesse, Chad, Véronique, Calvin, Jacob, Emma, Jack, Geneviève, Josée, Annie, Michael, Megan and great grand-papa of Joshia, Francis, Alexandre and Marie Jeanne. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury, Thursday, November 29, 2012 from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 1 p.m. at St Dominique Church, Sudbury.
