In Loving Memory of Siegfried “Sigy” Born, 87 years, Wednesday, April 28th, 2010 at the Extendicare Falconbridge. Beloved husband of Lucie (Kirschei) Born predeceased 2003. Loving father of Anita predeceased 2008 (Heinz Finke of Cornwall). Cherished grandfather of Petra (Michael Murphy) of Kirkland, Michael (Sherry Deschamps) of Blainville and great grandchildren Megan, Shauna, Mandy and Monica. Born in Wupperta, Germany, Sigy was a veteran of World War II. He taught school, then for many years he was the director of Food Services at the Hospitals. Sigy was well known and loved for his passion, Jazz music. He hosted a popular Radio Show on CKLU. He will be sadly missed, but the music will keep his spirit alive. Funeral Service in the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St. Saturday, May 8th, 2010 at 10 a.m. Interment in the Civic Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.(Friends may call after 9 a.m. Saturday)
