January 30, 2013 100

BOUFFARD, Alice - In Loving Memory of Alice Bouffard (nee Chaloux) 100 years. Who passed away Thursday January 24th 2013, at St. Joseph's Villa her loving sister Doris by her side. Beloved wife of the late Oliver Bouffard. Loving sister of Doris Zazulak of Sudbury. Predeceased by her dear parents Thomas and Alvina (nee Legault) Chaloux, her sisters Florence Lajambe, Rita Poirier, Cecile Guenard and brothers Edward Chaloux and Roland Chaloux. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Alice was an outgoing people person with an awesome sense of humour. She had many passions and interests some she still enjoyed into her 90s. She loved to play cards and bingo, fishing, hunting, the outdoors, exercising, walking and sitting by the water. Alice had skills envied by many, her creative abilities and talents turned recycled, unusual or plain materials into works of art. She was in many ways a woman ahead of her time who broke barriers of all kinds. She loved sewing, embroidery, knitting and was considered a great cook. She tended lovingly to her flower beds and produced bountiful vegetables from her garden. Alice was a strong willed independent, resourceful woman always prepared for the unexpected. She will be remembered as a loving, vibrant, kind and generous woman. Her light will live on in those she knew and loved. Memorial Visitation at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME.
