BOULANGER, Larry

December 18, 2012 54

BOULANGER, Larry Dale - In Loving Memory of Larry Dale Boulanger, May 9, 1958 - December 16, 2012. It is with deepest regret that our family announces the passing of our loving brother and father on December 16, 2012, at the Maison Vale Hospice, with his sister at his side. Born in Kirkland Lake, Ontario he moved to Sudbury with his family in 1967. Larry is survived by his son, Dale of London Ontario and Dale's mother, Barb also of London, Larry's sister, Linda (nee Boulanger) Tomasik, her husband Wally (of Sudbury) and many nieces, nephews and a large extended family. His mother Anita and father Claude recently predeceased him. Larry spent most of his adult life working and living in London, Ontario more recently moving to Corbeil and Calander, Ontario. Larry was a kind and gentle man, who never once complained about what life presented to him. He faced his life with a positive attitude and always has a smile for those he met and cared for. While he grew up in Sudbury and despite his small stature, he excelled in sports. Larry excelled in soccer and played in an International Soccer Tournament representing Sudbury in New York State and played hockey in Finland for his high school. Besides his family, his passion was hockey, where he coached and shared his knowledge and skills with his son and many other youth. He continued to play competitively until a year ago when he moved North. Larry was grateful for all who visited him, especially his close friends who travelled from Southern Ontario to be with him sharing memories and good times. To his closest of friends, our family thanks you for your caring and concern for Larry's well being. At Larry's request, there will be no services. Interment will follow at a later date. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Arrangements entrusted to the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the Maison Vale Hospice on his behalf. “Let us shoulder your burdens for a while Lend us your pain as you go unfettered Take solace, your loved ones remain.“
