BRASCH, Christine - It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Christine, at the age of 75. She was born on April 1, 1935 in the Sudentenland and lived in the Sudbury area for the last 56 years. Sadly missed by friends and family, we are grateful that she passed away peacefully in her own home. She had suffered bravely a long ordeal with ataxia and trigeminal neuralgia. Beloved wife of Hans Brasch, loving mother of Thomas and Teresa and cherished grandmother of Catherine, Julia and Olivia. She was also a noted community figure, a dedicated volunteer, as well as a dutiful daughter. Her charity was particularly evident in the care of a former neighbour, Mrs. Wallace. Most special are the times she was able to spend with her grand daughters who will miss her dearly. Memorial service will be held at LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME (252 Regent Street, Sudbury) on Thurs., Oct. 14 at 11:30 am. with a visitation at 11:00 a.m. Any stories or photos can be posted to: http://christinebrasch.blogspot.com
