Clifford Lewis Brewer

 

February 7, 1944 at Whitefish Falls, Ontario – December 24, 2023 at Sudbury, Ontario

It is will great sadness that the family announces the passing of Clifford Lewis Brewer in Sudbury on Sunday December 24, 2023, at the age of 79 years, after a long illness.  Son of predeceased parents Clarence (stepfather) and Charlotte (Mitchell), and predeceased foster parents Nelda Bowser and Leger Cyr.  Spouse to Monique (Joly).  Brother of Jimmy (predeceased), William ‘Bill’ (predeceased), Doreen (predeceased), Robert Cyr (predeceased), and Derrick Brewer (spouse Nancy).

Loving father to Loma Lynn (spouse Hank Rowlinson), Jacqueline and Angela Brewer.  Proud grandfather to Cynthia ‘Cindy’, Todd, and Lindsay Provincial, Alexander ‘AJ’ and Dalton Mathias, Cody, Tanner and Chase Noel, Dakota Rowlinson, Brooklynn Paquette, Austin Rowlinson, Chanel and Hunter (Buckshot) Paquette.   Cherished great grandfather to Trinity, Mayli, Drake, Emily, Jenna, Mila, Mya (Blondie), Keira, and David Jr. and great great grandfather to Nellie Beauregard.  

Clifford was a proud Anishinaabe and band member of Whitefish River First Nation.  He had a great sense of humour and loved time shared with his family and the many friends he made a long the way.  He was an artist, enjoyed painting, country music, dancing and tinkling on his piano.  He was a life long Leaf’s fan and looked forward to hockey nights with Jackie and Cindy and whoever else dropped by. A special thank you to all those at Croatian Center who gave him the gift of friendship that he truly appreciated. 

There will be no funeral home service however a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.   In lieu of sending flowers, please pass on a little act of kindness to someone.
