In loving memory of Roger Brideau 89 years. Passed away at his residence on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. Beloved husband of 56 years to Anne Brideau (nee Dominique) predeceased in 2012. Loving father of Roger (Sylvie) of Casselman, Ontario, and Robert of Hanmer. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren Vincent, Alexandre, and Genevieve, and great grandchildren Gabriel, Aliya, Jasper, and Phoenix. Predeceased by his parents Alexandre and Emma Brideau (nee Losier), and brothers Omer, George, Aurele, and Armand, and sisters Emelda Dempsey, Carmen Huilier, and Gertrude. He is survived by his sister Irene Arseneau as well as many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Roger was a member of the Valley East Lions Club for over 50 years. He was past District Governor and served as chair for the Lions Christmas Telethon for 9 years. He was a member with the Knights of Columbus Council #7368 for over 25 years and served 8 years as Grand Knight. He volunteered his time coaching hockey, and with church activities such as meals and breakfasts. Roger enjoyed life to the fullest!

Resting at the Lougheed Funeral Home Hanmer/Capreol Chapel 4605 Michelle Drive, Hanmer on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 from 2-5 and 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Kevin’s Parish, 4610 St Therese St, Val Therese on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024 at 11:00 am. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium with burial alongside his wife in the Valley East Cemetery. Donations to the Maison McCulloch Hospice or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
