BRIGGS, Charles (Chuck) Francis - In loving memory of Charles “Chuck“ Francis Briggs, 67 years, Monday, February 14th, 2011 at the Espanola Regional Hospital Beloved husband of Sylvia (Valade) Briggs. Incredibly loving father of Nicole (Denis Paradis) and Tammy (Brent Charrier). Proud and cherished grandfather “Papa“ and mentor of Steven and Marc. Dear son of Clifford and Marie Briggs both predeceased. Dear brother of Rachel Read of Innisfil, Deborah Wolf of Kitchener, Len of Toronto, and predeceased by Thomas. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and fishing buddies. Born and raised in Creighton Mine, Chuck worked at INCO for 30 years as a mechanic and machinist, retiring in 1990. He was a proud member of Providence Bay and Spring Bay Lions' Club and associate member of the Espanola Lions Club. An avid hunter and fisherman, he loved to spend time in the outdoors, especially at his cottage in Mindemoya. Chuck enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and friends. He will be missed. Memorial Service in the R.J. Barnard Chapel JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury Thursday, February 17th, 2011 at 2pm. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association (Childrens' Programs) or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. (Friends may gather after 1:30pm Thursday).
