It is with broken hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Lorraine Brosseau-Démoré with family by her side on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the age of 62 years. Cherished daughter of Polydor, (predeceased - February 27, 2000, the same date, 21 years ago) and Angèle Brosseau (nee Carriere). Beloved wife of Marc Démoré. Loving stepmother of Brigitte Thompson (Don), step grandmother (memère) to Olivia. Dear Sister of Susanne Rehel, Claude “Buck” Brosseau (Lynn), Marc “Bidou” (Jill). She will be lovingly missed by her nieces, nephews and great niece and nephew, for them she was matante “LouLou”. Lorraine enjoyed going to the cottage, she had an amazing talent for painting, crafts, stained glass, sewing, playing the guitar and mandolin. She also enjoyed her 30-year career in the Biology department at Laurentian University and will surely be missed by her co-workers and students. Donations in Lorraine’s memory can be made directly to the Maison McCulloch Hospice or the Northeastern Cancer Centre and would be greatly appreciated. A special thank you to the Bayshore nurses. In keeping with her wishes, there will be no visitation or service, a Celebration of Life will be held at camp, at a later date.
