80, Wallace Bay, passed away June 9, 2021, with her family by her side, at the North Cumberland Memorial Hospital, Pugwash. Born in Springhill she was a daughter of the late Frank and Winora (Pollard) Hollis. Annie was a member of the Wallace River Baptist Church; Order of the Eastern Star Cedar Atlantic Chapter #3, Wallace, and New Port Richey Chapter #117, Florida, the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America and the Royal Canadian Legion, Peace Branch #60, Pugwash. She is survived by her husband, Lloyd Brown; children, David (Vivian) Chalut, Naughton, Ont., Marion Chalut, Lane Michel “Mike” (Lorraine) Chalut, Kevin (Ellen) Chalut, all of Sudbury, Ont.; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; step children, Allen (Brenda) Brown, Truro, Linda Brown, Ottawa, Deborah (Trevor) Eisnor, Charlottetown, P.E.I., Kenneth (Laura) Brown, Truro; seven step grandchildren, four step great grandchildren; brother, Vaugh Hollis, Terrace, B.C.; brother-in-law, Harold Gifford, Pickeral River, Ont..; Besides her parents she was predeceased by a daughter, Catherine Chalut; son, Charles Chalut; siblings, Beatrice Gifford, Wayne (Marilyn) Hollis, and a twin brother in infancy. Donations in memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Shrinner’s Hospital for Children. Service details will be announced at a later date when some Covid-19 restrictions are eased.
