BROWNLEE, Archie Fisher - In loving memory of a good and honest man of Great Faith who passed away March 13th, 2012 at age 93 at the Maison Vale Hospice. Archie was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by his wife Sheila. The father of three boys David, Gerald (Bonnie predeceased) and Raymond (Brenda). Archie was the grandfather of Stephanie, Lisa, Alison, Aaron, Laurie, Jody and the great grandfather of 13. Archie was born in Sinclair, Manitoba and moved to Sudbury for work at INCO in 1946 as a miner. An active participant in the building of the community Archie and Sheila operated a greenhouse and flower shop for many years. He was involved in politics as a councilor in Waters Township. As an Elder in the United Church he was instrumental in the building of the church in Naughton. He was also active in the formation and operation of the Elks Lodge in Naughton. Archie and Sheila enjoyed spending the winters in Florida and summers at their camp at Penage. In honoring Archie's request there will be no visitation or service at this time. Donations to the Maison Vale Hospice would be greatly appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME.
