1948 - 2023
It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing on Friday September 29th, 2023 in Sudbury at the age of 74 years. Son of the late William and of the late Rita (née Taillefer) Brunette. Loving husband of Lynda Zinger. Claude will be sadly missed by his children Claude Jr, Brian, Edward and Michael. Lovingly remembered by his 11 grandchildren as well as his 11 great grandchildren. Claude is survived by siblings Larry, Ronald, Claudette King, Madeleine, Carmen, William “Willy Jr”. Predeceased by siblings Marie, Denise and Claudette (infant twin sister).
Claude was retired from I.N.C.O. after more than 25 years of service. Young at heart, if you asked him his age, he would reply “always 29”. The family will receive friends for a funeral mass to be held Friday October 6th, 2023 at 11 am at the St. Paul the Apostle Church, 30 Cedar Street, Coniston. Burial will follow in the family plot at the Lasalle Cemetery.
