It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Diane Brunette at home on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 in Val Caron. Diane was born September 6th, 1949 in the small town of Temiscaming, Quebec.
Diane was married to the love of her life Raymond Brunette for 56 years. She will be incredibly missed by her three children and their families. Johnny Brunette (Barb Fransen), Sherry Talevi (Roy Talevi), and Jason Brunette. She was a loving grandmother to Julia and Madison Brunette, Emily Kleven (Braedon Kleven), Alyssa Trottier (Alain Trottier), Anthony Talevi, and Asher Brunette. Great grandmother of Wyatt, Logan, and Lydia Kleven, and Jackson Trottier. Dear friend of Marina Clement, Raymonde Petryna and Carol Johnston. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, especially her brother Danny Gervais (Dayle Gervais) and her niece Marylynn Perrault.
Everyone that knew Diane knew how much family meant to her. She was passionate about always making sure the family was together for every birthday, holiday or celebration. She was truly the glue that held the family together and made sure that everyone felt special. She loved to craft and knit items for her loved ones, with even a night dedicated every week to “craft night” where she would spend time with her closest friends. She was popular at the bingo hall where she spent most of her time with her husband and will be greatly missed by all of her bingo friends. The most important thing to Diane was to be surrounded by all of her loved ones.
Donations to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
As per Diane’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of life to follow in the Spring. Cremation services by Park Lawn Crematorium.
